This battery is rechargeable and is charged using a small solar panel on your device. Please ensure that the solar panel is clean and free to obstruction. If you are unsure whether your solar panel is working or whether you have a solar panel please contact an electrician for assistance.

Rebuild Service for a Velux® 833442 battery pack. For the cost of this service, we will open your battery pack, replace all cells, test, and reassemble. Cases, connectors, and circuit boards are re-used and are not replaced or serviced. The performance of our battery packs is equal to or better than that of a brand new battery from the OEM but at a fraction of the cost. Send your 833442 battery to us and let us make it work as well as new. Our trained technicians work on Velux® brand batteries each day. We rebuild almost all types of Velux® brand batteries. Rebuilt Capacity: 4.5Ah

Note: When we are rebuilding your battery, if your circuit board is found to be defective, we will contact you. At that time we will provide you with the option of sending us another battery or we can refund you for the rebuild service. The old cells are removed and recycled prior to circuit board testing and cannot be shipped back to you. 

Orders containing lithium batteries will ship by ground only regardless of the shipping method chosen.

Please note that the case on this battery is very brittle. Please be sure to use extra padding when shipping this battery.

Promptly did as advertised

The two battery packs that were over ten years old were returned fully operational more quickly than I expected. While they looked like when I removed them from the skylights, they worked as new. The only difficulties I had were with reprogramming the remotes.

In April of '24 I sent in the battery pack for my non-functioning solar shade. It was repaired & returned to me as promised. Excellent servuce and half the price

I mailed my batteries as directed. Within a week they were returned completely refurbished. I installed them right away and the Vellux shades are operable once again. Easy turnaround......and the batteries work perfectly!. Highly recommend.
