With this purchase, you need to send your battery to us to be tested.

Description

For the purchase price we will do the following:

1. Recondition one battery if needed.

2. Fully load test one battery to determine actual battery capacity.

3. Test the battery on one of our SEGWAY® machines to test whether it functions properly.

Orders containing lithium batteries will ship by ground only regardless of the shipping method chosen. If you desire shipping insurance on the shipment from us back to you, please click here to add it.

The fees paid for this service are unable to be applied to rebuild services. We do not perform any diagnostic services on NCG2004-N battery packs!

Software Glitches!!!

First off I am freaking elated that I found MTO and sent my batteries to them. I have a set of Rev.AJ batteries that are just under 1yr old. I keep after my batteries by charging and using them a few times a week. I recently had a red light on one battery just suddenly appear. I took the machine back to my local Segway dealer and they contacted Segway. Segway responded and said no warranty because I did not charge my batteries properly. THATS IT?!?!? No, I called MTO and spoke with Jason. HE advised me that Segway batteries with Rev.AH and Rev.AJ have had some issues where the circuit board inside the battery locks up (I'm not a tech guy so I didn't follow this part 100%). I shipped the battery to MTO and they worked some magic and shipped the battery back to me. The red light is gone, the battery was not opened up, and it works great. MTO said that the batteries WERE NOT over discharged but rather just locked up due to an issue in this specific battery. Give MTO a chance. These guys and gals are the real deal and they saved me a ton of money when compared to purchasing a new battery.

Red Lights Gone!

I had an issue with my battery going red after I had it on the charger for about 3 weeks. I drove 4hr to get to MTO and they took a look. Jason came out and greeted me and discussed possible solutions. He brought his laptop out and hooked into the battery and brought up this cool program that showed him everything about the battery. He pointed out multiple error codes that were present and advised that he felt the battery could be re-calibrated and the error codes could be reset. Well.......3hr later I received the phone call. The battery recovered nicely. We reviewed the battery on the laptop again when I picked it up and it looked much better (keeping in mind I'm a Dentist not a battery guy). I have been using the battery for about a month now and all is well. MTO Battery did a fantastic job with my Segway lithium battery. I would not hesitate to recommend others to this fine establishment. Thanks to Jason and the team for making this such a painless experience.

Rev AJ Battery Issue

My Rev.AJ battery suddenly stopped working and I had no idea why. I called Segway and they told me that I did not charge my battery and that it would not be covered under warranty. I was furious to say the least since they had no idea if that was true or not. I called MTO and spoke with Jason. He took the time to walk me through checking the voltage of the battery, which by the way was 76.3VDC. That is not over discharged like Segway had advised. Jason had me send the battery to MTO for evaluation. They were able to diagnose that the BMS had locked up. They unlocked it and made sure all was well with it before shipping it back to me. I can't thank MTO Battery enough for the assistance. Without an honest company like you out there I would have been stuck paying $995 to a local dealer for a new battery. Instead I paid $75 and some shipping.
