With this purchase, you need to send your battery to us to be rebuilt. We DO NOT sell new or already rebuilt batteries.

Charging Recommendations

1. Always ensure that the battery is not hot and is at room temperature before charging.

2. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not store the battery on the charger for extended periods of time. Please note that storing a battery in a charger that is not plugged into the wall, can potentially cause the battery to drain back into the charger. This was more common with older chargers and we have also noted it in some newer chargers.

3. It is recommended to not store the battery on the device when not in use. Storing the battery separately removes the possibility of the device slowly draining the battery. 

4. If you have not used the battery for 2-3 months, we would recommend recharging the battery and if possible, use them. This helps maintain their health.

5. Lastly, be sure to store your battery in a dry environment. If possible, avoid temperatures below freezing and above 110F to maximize battery life.

Shipping

Li-Ion batteries may be regulated for shipment based upon their size. Below are links to the regulations from the three main shipping carriers for shipping lithium batteries. 

USPS will transport batteries that are up to 100Wh per section 349.222 that can be found here.

UPS will transport batteries that are up to, but not exceeding, 300Wh per their information that can be found here. UPS Hazmat Phone: 1-800-554-9964

FedEx will transport batteries that are up to, but not exceeding, 300Wh per their information that can be found here. FedEx Hazmat Phone: 1-800-463-3339

If your battery is in excess of 300Wh, you will need to see if your local UPS or FedEx location has a staff member that is properly trained to package and ship your battery(s).

Description

Rebuild service for a Fluke TiSBP smart battery pack. This battery has been discontinued by Fluke and our service requires you to send your battery into us for repair and we will rebuild and send your exact case back to you. We will not swap your case with another so you know you're not getting back a lesser quality. Our rebuild will be done with high-quality cells that will increase the capacity. Please note that the case, circuit board, and connector are customer supplied parts that are not repaired or replaced and therefore carry no guarantee. The case on these will sometimes crack due to the plastic being brittle. If this occurs we will reseal it as best we can.  Our company has been repairing Fluke TiSBP batteries for many years and we have one of the best reputations for quality in the battery industry.

Amazing

Since you can't get these new any more I decided to give rebuilding a try. I did the first one myself and now it is trash. I ruined the battery pack. I sent the second one to MTO and it came back working like new again.

Life Saver

I thought I was done for when I could not find these batteries new any longer. Then I found MTO. I sent 8 batteries in for rebuilding and 7 of them were able to be rebuilt. I had a defective circuit board inside one. I had 2 with bad boards fail previously that Fluke had replaced under warranty so I do not feel that this was any fault of MTO. I am seeing about 15-20% longer run time on the rebuilds. All in all, I am happy with the service and am grateful I do not have to fork out the cash for new equipment quite yet.
