With this purchase, you need to send your battery to us to be rebuilt. We DO NOT sell new or already rebuilt batteries.

Charging Recommendations

1. Always ensure that the battery is not hot and is at room temperature before charging.

2. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not store the battery on the charger for extended periods of time. Please note that storing a battery in a charger that is not plugged into the wall, can potentially cause the battery to drain back into the charger. This was more common with older chargers and we have also noted it in some newer chargers.

3. It is recommended to not store the battery on the device when not in use. Storing the battery separately removes the possibility of the device slowly draining the battery. 

4. If you have not used the battery for 2-3 months, we would recommend recharging the battery and if possible, use them. This helps maintain their health.

5. Lastly, be sure to store your battery in a dry environment. If possible, avoid temperatures below freezing and above 110F to maximize battery life.

Shipping

NiCad & NiMH batteries are dry cell batteries and are not regulated as long as they are protected from becoming shorted during transit. No special packaging or labeling is required.

Rebuild Service for a Scott Safety® 200158-01 battery pack. For the cost of this service, we will open your battery pack, replace all cells, test, and reassemble. Cases, connectors, and circuit boards are re-used and are not replaced or serviced. Send your 200158-01 battery to us and let us make it work as well as new. Note: When we are rebuilding your battery, if your circuit board is found to be defective, we will contact you. At that time we will provide you with the option of sending us another battery or we can refund you for the rebuild service. The old cells are removed and recycled prior to circuit board testing and cannot be shipped back to you. 

 Orders containing lithium batteries will ship by ground only regardless of the shipping method chosen.

Wonderful service and performance

These people are 100% legit. Our team had six of these Scott Safety batteries. We sent two at a time to MTO Battery to be refurbished. They were rebuilt and look great when completed. Best of all, we are getting more runtime out of these batteries than I ever remember before. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable when I called.
