We take great pride in our work and we aim for 100% customer satisfaction. We expect our rebuilds to last a long time, not a few days, and not a few weeks. Our official warranty period is six months from the day we ship it back to you. It is your responsibility to contact us immediately by email with any problems/concerns you have about your battery/product even if you are unsure if the battery is the problem. Failure to notify us by email of any problems within six months of your battery being rebuilt will result in loss of warranty coverage. Be sure to verify the charge rate on your charger before purchasing rebuild services. Be sure to verify the charge rate on your charger before selecting rebuild services/cores. Max charge rates are listed on each rebuild service/core.
When rebuilding your own battery with cores purchased from us you are responsible for all warranty. The installation of the connector and all protective sensors is important to maintain a safe and healthy battery. We do not extend any warranty on rebuild cores. All cores are custom made to order therefore there are no returns. If you order the wrong configuration or incorrect cell size we can exchange them for the correct one but we will access a 25% restocking fee to make the exchange. The customer will be responsible for all shipping charges. If any core has been modified or soldered we will not return or exchange it under any circumstances.
Our warranty exclusively covers the new cells/items we are installing into your battery pack. If your battery pack has circuit boards or other devices which we are not servicing we do not provide any warranty on those items.
A 15% restocking fee will apply to all special order item returns. Special order items such as but not limited to aftermarket battery packs for laptops and power tool packs caan only be returned within 30 days of the purchase. After 30 days batteries can be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
In order to obtain warranty service you must email us and get an RMA#. DO NOT SEND YOUR BATTERIES WITHOUT OBTAINING AN RMA# FROM US. Then you must send the battery in question back to us prepaid with the RMA# on the outside of the package. We do not accept any COD shipments. Once we test the battery we will contact you and let you how we are proceeding. In most cases it will be a quick fix and you may receive notification that we are shipping it back to you before we get a chance to contact you. In the event the battery was overcharged, exposed to moisture, dropped, or in any way neglected we may refuse warranty service and require you to pay return S&H and/or repair costs. Please note that a defective charger or tool can damage a battery. If the battery has been taken apart by anyone other than a MTO Battery / Battery Builders associate your warranty and/or right to return/exchange the product will be considered null and void. In the event your battery is not covered under warranty we will contact you with options on how we can proceed.
